This is a really surreal blog post to be putting together, but I’m so excited to finally be doing this. Being pregnant with a “rainbow baby” is tough. There is so much thankfulness and gratefulness, but there’s also a matched amount of fear and nervousness, especially in early pregnancy. When it came time for me to start envisioning our sweet baby girl’s nursery, I knew I wanted to reflect the idea of her as our rainbow…
I’m excited to finally share some photos from my baby shower. Yes, my baby is now 6 months old. It’s safe to say I’ve been a little busy! LOL!! Either way, so much love went into this special day and I want to share the pretty photos my friend Maddison took for me.
As long as I’ve been photographing and blogging weddings, I can’t believe I’ve never taken the time to actually blog my own wedding photos!! Bringing you Part 4 of my Becoming the Cantus series… Our Wedding Day! I’m so excited to share these sweet photos. Obviously, as a wedding photographer myself, I find such value in photography, and I really treasure these photos by Charity Maurer Photography. I’m so excited to share a little bit about our wedding day…
This post has been a long time coming, but with a baby on the way I figured it was time to get back to this series and continue to share about John and I’s story! When I realized that my “About Me” section wasn’t a sufficient avenue to share the story of how we became husband and wife, I decided to start this mini series on the blog! If you missed Part 1 of this series, be sure to check it out to read all about how John and I both grew up in the small town of Florence but didn’t officially “meet” until highschool, which you can read about in Part 2. For Part 3 of this series, I’m so excited to finally share how John proposed!!! 🙂 Sorry in advance– this is a bit of a long story!

If you missed Part 1 of this series, be sure to check it out to read all about how John and I both grew up in the small town of Florence. Growing up in a small town, there were so many opportunities for us to meet, but we didn’t! Now, for Part 2, I’ll be sharing how we actually did come to meet!
Friends, I have been so excited to start this blog series here on our website. I started realizing that my “About Me” section merely isn’t a sufficient avenue to share this story… One of my favorite stories… the story of how John and I became husband and wife and all of the details in between.
