Sedona AZ Engagement Session | Kelly & Mitch
Oh my goodness guys, this is a good one! Meet Kelly & Mitch, two people who met in college at Texas A&M and fell in love. I love their proposal story, and you just have to hear it directly from the bride: “Mitch proposed to me during Christmas Break while I was in grad school. He was back home in California, and I was home in Illinois. Him and my dad worked together to pull off the surprise proposal. My dad handed me a package that looked like it had been mailed from Mitch. Inside were two wrapped items labeled “open first” and “open second”. The first gift was a DVD titled “play me,” so I played it and it was a compilation of all our pictures and songs. The second item in the package was a love note with directions for me to go outside. I went down and there were rose petals leading me to Mitch.. where he proposed.” The amount of detailed planning that went into this proposal is just too sweet!
Of course, for their engagement session we had to have the perfect Arizona setting for these two out of towners.. And we settled on Sedona. It was the absolute perfect backdrop for Kelly & Mitch. Together, they were full of laughs and sweet in between moments throughout their session. We explored the area around Bell Rock until the sun dipped behind the red tinted mountains, and the soft light created some beautiful imagery. Check out my favorites and be sure to look out for their wedding next year at SoHo63.
