Serendipity Garden Wedding | CA Wedding Photographer | Kylie & Noah
A little over a week ago, Kylie and Noah tied the knot at the beautiful Serendipity Garden Weddings in Oak Glen, California. You might remember these two because I shared their engagement blog not too long ago, and their story was adorable! After meeting through mutual friends and dating for a couple of years, Noah planned a surprise proposal for Kylie that was both heartfelt and touching. After photographing their engagement photos, I knew their wedding day was going to be amazing. Kylie and Noah are so good at loving the people around them! They are both incredibly kind-hearted, generous people, and you can see those qualities shining best with the way they love one another.
The day started early as Kylie prepared to marry the man of her dreams surrounded by her bridesmaids. When we arrived, we could feel the buzz of excitement in the air as the reality of the day started to take shape. One of my favorite things was seeing how well Kylie’s bridesmaids loved on her throughout the day! From beginning to end, all 9 of them were incredibly supportive (and looking gorgeous too, I might add)! We stole Kylie away so she could read a sweet note from Noah before we headed outside for some photos of the bride with her bridesmaids in their adorable matching robes! Matching robes are a must guys!!! Of course, Noah read his note from Kylie as well, and then the Bride & Groom finished getting ready for the day!
We headed into some bridesmaid and groomsmen photos before the first look, and I have to say I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES. The color is everything, and it photographed so beautifully! Then, during the first look, Noah shed tears as he saw his bride for the first time in a perfectly sweet moment. We roamed the grounds of Serendipity and before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. This is where I have to stop and say Serendipity Garden Weddings is by far one of the most beautiful venues I’ve had the privilege to photograph! The ceremony had stunning views and lots of tears while friends and family celebrated the new union. My favorite moment was photographing Kylie and Noah while they took communion as their first act in their new marriage. It was such a beautiful testament to this sweet couple and their priorities as husband and wife.
After the ceremony we photographed family photos as well as more Bride & Groom portraits during the golden hour (fav). Before long, it was time for the grand entrance as well as Kylie and Noah’s first dance as husband and wife. I’ve said it a million times before, but I love when first dances take place while the sun is still up, and this one certainly did not disappoint. For me, this moment feels like a chance to document the Bride & Groom 100% naturally, without any posing, in beautiful light. During Kylie and Noah’s first dance, their love for each other was on display for all to see, and it was such a beautiful moment as family, friends, and guests looked on in love and support.
At this point, I should probably mention the beautiful reception decor! The Olivine Collective did an outstanding job with the reception centerpieces, perfectly accenting the gorgeous floral arrangements by Flowers by Mae Mae. The couple not only included an adorable dessert bar in addition to their cake by Michelle’s European Bakery, they also included a Trail Mix bar, and a S’mores bar that made its appearance when the sun hid behind the California mountains. When the dancing winded down, Kylie & Noah exited their wedding night with a sparkler celebration! Their day was so special, and their exit perfectly wrapped it up. 🙂
Kylie & Noah: Okay, longest blog post ever written? Maybe! Haha! I can’t help it though, you guys! Your day was everything I expected it to be, from the beautiful decor to your sweet family and friends. John and I honestly couldn’t be happier for you guys. From the minute we “met” face to face, we knew you guys were the real deal. It has been an honor to be a part of your story, and I know God has some beautiful things in store for your marriage. Blessings and Love (and I hope we’ll cross paths again)! 🙂
