Lake Pleasant AZ Engagement Session | Kylie & Noah

Although Kylie and Noah went to the same college (and had the same major), they never had a single class together. It wasn’t until a group of mutual friends went country dancing that Kylie and Noah would finally cross each other’s paths. Noah asked Kylie to two step with him, and the spark began! A few months later, the two shared their first date, where they were supposed to go to dinner and a movie. They got distracted on a long walk around a lake and ended up talking for four hours instead! Kylie said, “It was then that I knew I could talk to him forever. He was so kind and genuine. He really loved the Lord and it was apparent in everything he did.” They fell in love and Noah has since asked Kylie to be his wife. 🙂

From the Bride — My whole family gets together and vacations in San Clemente, CA every July. It’s the one month a year that everyone is together so we always try to get family pictures taken. The day before family pictures, Noah had sent me a text saying that he was called in to work again and wasn’t going to be able to hang out. I was really disappointed, but what could he do? So we took some family pictures at the beach and my mom wanted a few in grass too, so we walked to the nearby park. And there was Noah. He was standing by a park bench he had decorated with flowers and candles that made a path for me to reach him. On the bench were some of my favorite pictures of us. He had made a chalkboard sign that read, “Will you marry me?,” and included keepsakes from our first few dates, including a ferry ticket to Catalina Island that he saved from the day he had asked me to be his girlfriend nearly 2 years prior. I was very impressed (and trying not to cry my eyes out)! Afterward we got to celebrate with both of our families and our close friends who had planned a surprise engagement party for us.

I can’t say enough times how much we loved this engagement session. We got to visit a new favorite spot of ours, Lake Pleasant! It’s the perfect blend of desert and water, with stunning views and pastel colors, my favorite!! Kylie and Noah were so fun during their session, and I cannot wait for their wedding this August in Oak Glen, California at Serendipity Garden Weddings. Enjoy my favorites of their romance-filled desert lake engagement session.
