Superstition Mountain Country Club Wedding | AZ Wedding Photographer | Paige & Justin
On Sunday, Paige and Justin became husband and wife at the beautiful Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Oozing with Tuscan charm, this venue was the perfect backdrop for the intimately romantic day Paige had envisioned. After initially meeting online, Paige & Justin’s relationship blossomed into a beautiful romance that would culminate in Justin’s sweet proposal at The Royal Palm in Scottsdale. After a short engagement, their wedding day was the perfect reflection of these two and their classic romance.
Together, Paige and Justin are full of sweet glances and lots of laughs. Justin was the perfect groom, handsome and in awe of his bride’s beauty throughout the day. Paige has been one of my favorite people to photograph- ever. No joke. Her real smile and laugh come easily, and she’s such a genuine person to be around. On her wedding day, she exuded classic beauty from head to toe — seriously though, I’m in love with her shoes! Haha!
After the bride and groom were finished getting ready, we led them to their “first touch,” where they would pray together and read letters they had each written for one another. It was so beautiful to see how these two can go from bursting with laughter and excitement, to the sweet moment as Paige wiped a tear while reading her soon-to-be husband’s hand-written letter. It was one of my favorite moments of their day!
Once we had Justin safely tucked away, we took some time to photograph the bride with some of her close friends, and made sure to grab a couple bridal portraits against the beautiful backdrop of the venue. Before long, the ceremony was starting and the guests had arrived. Paige and Justin chose to have a very intimate wedding day. With about 25 guests present, they read their vows to one another against the backdrop of the breathtaking Superstition Mountains. When they were pronounced husband and wife, I could feel the joy from their close loved ones and I felt it for them myself!
We explored the grounds of the country club for some stunning bride and groom photos. I was seriously swooning the entire time. I kept saying “I swear this photo looks like we are in Tuscany!” Haha! I’ve said it about a thousand times already, but seriously, Paige & Justin’s wedding day was so incredibly romantic. After we finished with sunset photos in front of the Superstitions, it was time for their first dance as husband and wife. They danced on the patio as the sun dropped and their loved ones watched from a balcony above. It was beautiful!
I have to say, John and I were so in love with the details of this wedding day! The groom’s mom made the florals and styled the ceremony and reception sites beautifully. The reception was held in a hall with one long table to seat everyone. In lieu of a Groom’s cake, Paige surprised Justin with a one-of-a-kind miniature Empire State Building, one of the Groom’s favorite places. The set-up featured mini Empire State cookies for the guests as well! So cute! Greenery dripped from the sides of the table and the fireplace was adorned with candles. As the guests entered the reception hall, they would find handwritten letters at each of their seats, thoughtfully penned by the Bride. We loved documenting the rest of the night as cake cutting and toasts unfolded. To see Paige and Justin celebrate their new marriage with their closest friends and family was so special!
Paige & Justin: YOU GUYSSSSS! Thank you for letting John and I document your day. From start to finish everything really was so beautiful. You two are something special and I mean it. People can see the way you love one another just by being around you. We may have faced some obstacles on your day (seriously, you two are the greatest), but I am SO GLAD we got to be a part of it.
