Winter Wedding at The Paseo | Abby & Tony
Abby and Tony got married at the beautiful desert venue, The Paseo, this last December. Their wedding day was chilly and brisk out, but absolutely beautiful. The Superstition Mountains were a jaw-dropping background for Abby and Tony’s wedding day, and I loved every minute of it! If you missed their equally gorgeous engagement session at Watson Lake, make sure you take a peek! Abby and Tony were an absolute joy to photograph because they’re so loving toward one another. When I asked Abby how she knew Tony was the one she wanted to marry, she said it was because she never wanted to leave his side after their dates. That’s just too much cuteness too handle. 🙂
We started the day by photographing Abby while she got ready. Her mom lovingly helped her get dressed and ready to walk down the aisle. Before we knew it, Abby and Tony made their promises and shared their first kiss, and then we made our way to The Paseo. We started by photographing the bride and groom together. Oh man guys, the landscape surrounding The Paseo and the Superstition Mountains is seriously breathtaking. I looooove the desert, so I was thrilled with our setting for photos, and couldn’t have been swooning more. After bride and groom photos, we celebrated with the bridal party before heading off to the reception. The bridesmaids had the prettiest long dresses in various shades of winter reds and pinks, and topped off their look with ivory shawls- which I loved!
A couple things to note, Abby made her own bouquet with the help of her friends and family.. so dreamy! I loved their reception details most though, including the adorable “You Are My Greatest Adventure” cake topper from Better Off Wed and the adorable Honey guest favors signed “Meant to Bee.” I loved these little touches for Abby and Tony’s wedding day! After some dancing, cake, and fun, we took the couple outside for an intimate moment at the end of the night. It was such a beautiful and sweet way to wrap up the wedding day and remember what the whole day was about; a new marriage. From the bride “He makes me feel safe and at home. I can be myself around him at all times and I know that he loves me just the way I am.” What a beautiful sentiment to think back on their wedding day!
Abby & Tony: Thank you for inviting John and I to capture your day. You two were so incredibly sweet to work with. Abby, I swear sometimes you felt like a personal cheerleader with all the love and encouragement you gave from your engagement session to your wedding day. You’re honestly one of the most kind-hearted people I’ve ever met. I wish you two many years of happiness! 🙂
